How to activate eSIM on iPhone (iOS)

Use this guide for iPhone models that support eSIM. Make sure your phone is carrier-unlocked, connected to Wi-Fi, and updated.

Steps

  1. Open Settings and tap Cellular or Mobile Data.
  2. Tap Add eSIM, then choose Use QR Code.
  3. Scan the Airhub QR code, or tap Enter Details Manually when required.
  4. Label your line (for example: Airhub Travel) and keep your home SIM as default for calls if needed.
  5. Set your Airhub line as Cellular Data and enable Data Roaming for travel usage.
  6. Restart the phone once to ensure the network profile is applied correctly.

Quick checks

  • eSIM line is turned ON in Cellular settings.
  • Airhub eSIM is selected for cellular data.
  • Data roaming is enabled on the Airhub line.

How to activate eSIM on Android

Android settings vary by brand, but the activation flow is similar on Samsung, Pixel, and other supported devices.

Steps

  1. Open Settings and go to Connections or Network & Internet.
  2. Open SIM manager or SIMs, then tap Add eSIM.
  3. Select Scan QR code and scan your Airhub eSIM QR.
  4. Follow prompts to download and install the eSIM profile.
  5. Enable the new eSIM, choose it for mobile data, and turn Data Roaming ON.
  6. Toggle airplane mode OFF/ON once if network registration takes time.

Quick checks

  • Your eSIM profile appears under SIM manager.
  • Mobile data is assigned to the Airhub eSIM.
  • APN is auto-populated and signal bars are visible.
